Zinc plated tailgate easy latch kit is designed to have a soft close operation and also eliminate the rattle from the original hinges. Cutting the tailgate is necessary to install modern style latch assembly. No welding required. Kit includes the cut template and detailed instructions. Original rods and handle will get re-used.
